Program Location & Accommodations
San Antonio captures the spirit of Texas. The tradition of Tejas can be found at the Alamo and the Spanish Missions along Mission Trail. The historic La Villita serves as a focal point for artisans, galleries and restaurants. The weather in September is typically dry with temperatures during the day in the high 70Õs and lows in the mid 50Õs encouraging outdoor activities. The Riverwalk, located in downtown San Antonio is a focal point for the multicultural community that comprises San Antonio. The rich tapestry of the Canary Islands settlers, Mexican, German, French, Polish and many other nations is woven into our local traditions. The Riverwalk serves as the locus for a wonderful collection of hotels, restaurants and quaint shops nestled along the beautiful and vibrant river. The night life is varied and includes world renowned jazz, sizzling night clubs, Country and Western music and symphonies.

For the sports fan, San Antonio is a golf haven with more than 30 courses available. Whether its hiking, biking, boating, fishing or hunting San Antonio has it all. The Hyatt Regency Hill Country is a premier property nestled in the beautiful hill country just north of San Antonio. This quiet haven features an Arnold Palmer Golf Course, a river for tubing fun and a world class spa. Nearby attractions include Seaworld, Fiesta Texas and destination cities such as the Bandera, the Cowboy capital of Texas and Fredericksberg, the focus of German culture in Texas.

For those individuals that wish to enjoy the amenities of downtown San Antonio, a shuttle service operates between the Hyatt Regency Hill Country and the Riverwalk located in downtown San Antonio.
